Marty Weiner, CFA
President- Co-Portfolio Mgr

Martin Weiner has been Co-Portfolio Manager of the Comstock Capital Value Fund and the Comstock Partners Strategy Fund since 1999. He joined Comstock Partners, Inc. as a research analyst in 1995 and has been its president since 1999. Mr. Weiner is known for his expertise on financial and stock market history and has been a frequent guest in the financial media including radio, T.V. and the financial press. Mr. Weiner is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1969. He began his career as a securities analyst at the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1959. From 1966 to 1968 he served as an Equity Analyst and Division Chief at the Value Line Investment Survey. From 1969 to 1974 he was an Equity Analyst and became a Vice President at Standard and Poors Intercapital. In 1974 Mr. Weiner joined the Grumman Corporation where he served as Senior Equity Portfolio Manager for the Employee Benefit Plan from 1978 to 1994. Mr. Weiner received his BA from Brooklyn College in 1955 and his MS from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 1958. He has been married for 44 years and has a grown daughter.
